Project Summary :
Weldtech Oilfield Services were engaged by McConnell Dowell to provide temporary and permanent steelwork fabrication and surface treatment for Package 4 at Roy Hill site in Port Hedland.
Involving a 3.6 kilometerlong Overland Conveyor System, a 900 kilometer long wharf, and three transfer towers.
Weldtech Oilfield Services was contracted to fabricate a large variety of mechanical, structural and civil components over this period including Raker Piling Gates, templates, temporary bracing and components associated with the wharf traveler system, permanent structural steel including service supports for conveyors and concrete roadways.
Weldtech Oilfield Services were the first company to provide fabrication services to McConnell Dowell for this project, and were the last company still fabricating components at project completion.
